New Study Finds Serious Risk to Eating Edibles

Edible enjoyers, beware. In a new paper published in the journal JAMA Cardiology, researchers from the University of California at San Francisco have found that ingesting cannabis-infused goodies may be just as bad for one's heart as smoking it. For years now, heart experts have warned, based on a growing body of evidence, that smoking cannabis is quite bad for the old ticker — but this study appears to be the first that looked into whether edibles had similar effects.
