We could be severely undercounting the number of humans living on Earth, scientists suggest. While the United Nations determined that 8.2 billion people are sharing dwindling resources on our planet as of last summer, researchers found that the number could be off by anywhere from hundreds of millions to several billion people. That might sound like an alarming revelation.
